  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs

For the Topping:

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Make the Crust: In a medium bowl, combine flour, melted butter, granulated sugar, and salt. Press into a greased 9×9-inch baking pan and bake for 15-18 minutes until golden. Cool.
  3. Prepare the Filling: Melt chocolate chips, beat softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Add melted chocolate and vanilla. Beat in eggs one at a time until smooth.
  4. Assemble: Spread chocolate filling over cooled crust. Whip cream and sugar until stiff peaks form. Spread over chocolate layer.
