Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 16 ounces Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 10 ounce can Rotel diced tomatoes with green chilies, undrained
  • 1 pound ground hamburger beef

Instructions

  1. Brown Hamburger: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground hamburger and cook, stirring frequently, until fully browned and no longer pink. Drain excess fat if desired.
  2. Add Velveeta and Rotel: Reduce heat to low. Add the cubed Velveeta cheese and the entire can of undrained Rotel tomatoes to the browned hamburger in the skillet.
  3. Melt and Stir: Stir continuously until the Velveeta cheese is completely melted and the ingredients are fully combined into a smooth, creamy dip.
  4. Serve: Remove from heat and transfer to a serving dish. Serve warm with tortilla chips, crackers, or fresh vegetables for dipping.

Notes

  • You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
  • If you prefer spicier dip, use hot Rotel instead of mild.
  • Keep the dip warm by transferring it to a slow cooker set on low for parties.
  • This dip stores well in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheats gently on the stovetop or microwave.
