  • ½ cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted and cooled slightly
  • ¼ cup (60mL) vegetable oil
  • ¾ cup (150g) granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs, at room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 & ½ cups (360g) mashed ripe bananas (about 34 medium bananas)

Additional:

  • 1 cup (170g) semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan and line with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare dry ingredients: In a small bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. Mix wet ingredients: In a large bowl, combine melted butter, oil, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well mixed.
  4. Add bananas: Mix in mashed bananas until fully incorporated.
