For the Lasagna:
- 1 ½ lbs. ground beef
- 1/2 onion, diced
- 2 (24 oz.) jars Prego Spaghetti Sauce (traditional)
- 5 cups shredded mozzarella
- 1 (9 oz.) box Oven ready lasagna noodles
- Brown the Meat: In a frying pan, brown the ground beef and diced onion until cooked through.
- Mix Sauce: Pour both jars of spaghetti sauce into the pan with the cooked meat and onion, mix well.
- Layer Sauce: Spread 1 cup of the sauce mixture in a 9×13 baking dish.
- Add Noodles: Layer 4 lasagna noodles on top of the sauce.
- Layer Meat and Cheese: Spread half of the meat mixture over the noodles, then sprinkle half of the shredded mozzarella on top.
- Repeat Layers: Repeat the noodle, sauce, and cheese layers.
- Bake: Cover the dish with foil and bake at 375°F for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until cheese is golden and bubbly.
