Red Pasta:

  • 3 cups cooked Rotini pasta
  • 34 drops red liquid food coloring
  • 1 TBSP water

Blue Pasta:

  • 3 cups cooked Rotini pasta
  • 34 drops blue liquid food coloring
  • 1 TBSP water

White Pasta:

  • 3 cups cooked Rotini pasta
  • 1 TBSP olive or vegetable oil

Additional Ingredients:

  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, cubed
  • ¾ cup pepperoni, quartered
  • ½ cup black olives, chopped
  • 16 oz bottle Italian dressing

Instructions

  1. Pasta: Cook and rinse Rotini pasta. Dye a portion red, a portion blue, and leave a portion white. Drizzle white pasta with oil.
  2. Assemble: Combine red, white, and blue pasta in a bowl. Add cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, pepperoni, olives. Pour Italian dressing, mix well. Chill before serving.

Notes

  • You can adjust the food coloring intensity to your preference.
  • Feel free to add other favorite salad ingredients like bell peppers or cucumbers.
  • This salad is best served chilled.
