Pretzel Crust:

  • 1 cup crushed pretzels
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (20-ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 (12-ounce) container Cool Whip, thawed

Instructions

  1. Prepare Pretzel Crust: Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper. In a medium bowl, mix pretzel pieces, melted butter, and 1/2 cup sugar. Press mixture into the prepared pan and bake for 7 minutes. Let cool.
  2. Make Pineapple Fluff: In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and remaining 1/2 cup sugar until smooth. Fold in drained pineapple and Cool Whip. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  3. Finish and Serve: Just before serving, crumble the pretzel mixture and gently fold into the pineapple mixture. Optionally, reserve some to sprinkle on top.
