Shrimp:
- 1 lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined
Garlic Butter Sauce:
- 5 Tbsp. butter, divided
- 4 cloves garlic, finely minced
- 2 tsp. lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- 1 tsp. lemon zest
- ½ tsp. salt, to taste
- ¼ tsp. black pepper, to taste
- ¼–½ tsp. red pepper flakes, optional
- Parsley, finely chopped, optional
- Prep the Shrimp: Peel and devein the shrimp if necessary. Pat dry with a paper towel.
- Cook the Shrimp: Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet. Cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until opaque.
- Add the Butter: Create a well in the center of the skillet, add remaining butter, and saute garlic until fragrant.
- Season and Serve: Remove from heat, add lemon juice, zest, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Serve with parsley.
