Shrimp:

  • 1 lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined

Garlic Butter Sauce:

  • 5 Tbsp. butter, divided
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 2 tsp. lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 tsp. lemon zest
  • ½ tsp. salt, to taste
  • ¼ tsp. black pepper, to taste
  • ¼½ tsp. red pepper flakes, optional
  • Parsley, finely chopped, optional

Instructions

  1. Prep the Shrimp: Peel and devein the shrimp if necessary. Pat dry with a paper towel.
  2. Cook the Shrimp: Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet. Cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until opaque.
  3. Add the Butter: Create a well in the center of the skillet, add remaining butter, and saute garlic until fragrant.
  4. Season and Serve: Remove from heat, add lemon juice, zest, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Serve with parsley.
