- 4 lbs ribs: Country Style, Baby Back, or Pork Spare Ribs
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- 1 medium head garlic, pressed
- 1 cup real mayonnaise
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 tsp Mrs. Dash, Vegeta, or Italian seasoning
Finishing Touches:
- ¾ of a 16 oz bottle of BBQ sauce
- Prepare the Marinade: In a large mixing bowl, combine sliced onion, pressed garlic, mayonnaise, salt, pepper, seasoning of choice, and bay leaves. Stir until fully combined.
- Marinate the Ribs: Add the ribs to the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or overnight for deeper flavor.
- Bake the Ribs: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Arrange the marinated ribs in a large glass baking dish, cover tightly with aluminum foil, and bake for 2 hours.
- Add the BBQ Sauce: Remove the dish from the oven and carefully drain any excess fat. Brush both sides of the ribs generously with BBQ sauce.
- Final Bake: Cover the dish with foil again and bake for 15 more minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 15–25 minutes, until the ribs are caramelized and the sauce has thickened.
- Serve warm and enjoy the tender, flavorful results!
