Seasonings Mix

  • 1/4 cup dill pickle juice
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dill weed
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon dill pickle seasoning (optional, for extra flavor)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C).
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the Rice Chex cereal, Corn Chex cereal, pretzels, and cashews. Stir until everything is evenly mixed.
  3. Prepare Seasonings: In a separate small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, dill pickle juice, garlic powder, onion powder, dill weed, salt, black pepper, and dill pickle seasoning (if using).
  4. Coat Mix: Pour the butter mixture over the Chex mix and gently stir to coat all the pieces evenly.
  5. Bake: Spread the mixture evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. Bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
