2 cups light brown sugar, packed
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt

¾ cup toffee bits (like Heath bits)

Instructions
Preheat oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
Mix wet ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter and brown sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla, mix well.
Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
Add mix-ins: Fold in butterscotch chips, toffee bits, and any optional add-ins.
Bake: Spread dough in the pan and bake for 22–28 minutes until golden brown.
Cool and slice: Allow bars to cool in the pan, then slice into squares and serve.
