  • 16 slices white bread (crust removed)

For the Cream Cheese Filling:

  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar

For the Cinnamon Sugar Coating:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon

For Dipping:

  • 3/4 cup butter (melted)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cream Cheese Filling: In a bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until creamy.
  2. Prepare the Cinnamon Sugar Coating: In another bowl, combine the sugar and ground cinnamon.
  3. Prepare the Dipping Butter: Pour the melted butter into a third bowl.
  4. Assemble the Crack Sticks: Cut off the crusts from the bread slices. Roll each slice flat with a rolling pin. Spread the cream cheese mixture on each slice, then roll them up. Dip each roll in melted butter, followed by the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  5. Bake: Place the prepared rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 20 minutes, until golden and crispy.
