Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare dry ingredients: In a small bowl, whisk together flour and baking soda. Set aside.
  3. Combine wet ingredients: In a large bowl, beat together butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt until smooth and creamy.
  4. Add flavor: Mix in vanilla extract and eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  5. Combine the mixtures: Gradually add the flour mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Add chocolate chips: Fold in the chocolate chips.
